Sunday again

Looks like my baby has been kipnapped by cowboys...these guys look dangerous!
Look who came to visit: here's Silas with his great-aunt Vicki and Daddy's cousin Danielle who was born one day after Silas. She's just a little bit lighter weight than him...but then he's a big boy, already in 3-6 month clothes. I think Danielle looks just like her brothers Caleb and Lucas and Vicki said she thinks Silas looks very much like Levi. If you look close, there's Mya in the background. I just realized I don't have any pictures of the two of them together. She's 7 months old and he's 8 weeks and they weigh about the same weight because she's little for her age and he's a moose!

Guess who slept 9 to 5 last night?!

Silas...and Mommy too...yeah!!!!

Dad's Day

Happy Fathers' Day to all our wonderful Dads. Here they are with all of our boys...And just so Mya doesn't feel left out just b/c she's a girl:

Silas looks so grouchy in that first picture, here's one of him looking happier...he does smile and coo and is generally very engaging.

A very "cool" camping trip

Daddy took the boys camping on Lowes Lake along with Matt, Annette, and Jesse and our good friends Nate, Kim, Madison, Noelle, and Caleb Henry. The weather was cool, cloudy and at times showers, but they had a great time.Marcy found this snake in the bushes and kept barking at it. Jesse then insisted on carrying it around. We've all decided he's gonna be a zoo-ologist b/c he always has worms, frogs and salamanders in his pockets or down his shirt.
Noah, Levi, and Madison out in Aunt D's kayak. What a ball they all had. The cool weather didn't keep them from getting in the water.

proof that we have lots of water now...

Neighbor Bill bought this Sponge Bob slip and slide for the boys. They couldn't wait til we had water so that they could actually use it. What a mess. A bit chilly, but they didn't want to stop.

The things we take for granted!

Very little water for the whole weekend and low pressure for weeks before - what a pain. The plummer thought we'd need at a minimum a new pump and probably a new well...ouch! Finally, Michael dug it up and it was simply a cracked pipe. Thank God! So Dad and Michael fixed it with a simple part and it's oh so wonderful to have water again!!!

Levi offers Papa his pointers on how to complete repairs...

Noah takes advantage of having Gramma around since he's always looking for someone new to play with him...Levi isn't much for sports and Noah would live outside! They also played badmiton until the bugs got too bad.

Three peas in a pod.

These outfits made me so happy when I found them in children's place that I was practically jumping up and down and squealing. They all looked soooo sharp and everyone thought they were so cute together. I might as well enjoy myself now b/c I know very shortly they won't let me dress them any more and certainly not in matching clothes. As it is now, Noah and Levi think it's neat to wear matching outfits. Levi was so excited he took the baby's clothes out so he could "show Silas his outfit" and hung them so they dangled in his face on the swing. Whoever said dressing girls was more fun is VERY mistaken...I'm having an absolute ball with my three little men.
Daddy propped up Silas in bed this morning while Mommy was in the (very quick for lack of water) shower. Noah came in to cuddle with him and it was so absolutely adorable. They were soon joined by Mr. Levi...

Not so little guy-13lbs-growing too fast

This is just me being sentimental...we moved the little guy out of the basinette and into the crib this week. Mommy is sleeping better, but it's bittersweet to have him in his own room. He's such a little guy to be in there all by himself. He still gets me up at least once a night, but that's WAY better than in was.

My handsome guys!

Noah and Levi decided that they needed to "dress up" for church this morning. I was so bummed b/c Noah wore his suit for the first time and it was already too small - no wonder it was so cheap! Ah well, at least Levi will get some wear out of it and probably Silas too if Levi doesn't destroy it.
Levi adores his cowboy boots - but they always end up getting taken off during church because his feet run so hot. Guess I should be glad that he keeps his clothes on during church because at home he takes all those off too as soon as he gets in the door.

Beautiful Saturday

Noah trying to entertain Silas when Mommy is temporarily unavailable. Silas looses patience with the swing all at once and then he gets furious.
Thanks Kimmie for a great toy that you gave Levi for his birthday! The boys were so excited to finally have a nice day to set it up...it was a PAIN to put together (mommy's job), but then it was worth it because they kept playing with it all daylong.

Our three boys all ready for church on Sunday morning.
