Mt Joe Hike

We hiked up Mt Joe and slid down last weekend. It was overcast, but not too cold. We managed to make it down in record time by sliding down the snow on our ski pants.

Back yard bob-sled run
These are a couple of weeks old, but I'm so busy. So here they are. This was quite the project, Michael and Noah spent many hours outside on winter nights building it. By the time they had perfected it, it was quite dangerous and we insisted on helmets.
Here's Levi in the tunnel they added just for fun. This was really cool when you went down it at night under the lights.
And then of course he had to climb on top of the tunnel - good thing it was strong enough to hold him. Our outdoor wood furnace is right next to it.
And here's proof of how much snow we had. Enough that the boys could climb up on the garage roof. Here's Noah and Levi with a couple of their friends.
